Pregnancy is overwhelming and a miraculous thing which changes a life of women. When women are pregnant, she generally asks and surf question to every activity she performs. Fitness is something that is very important. If you do not maintain fitness, it will be a big mistake.

Being pregnant does not mean that you have to stop exercising but you should plan a regular exercise routine and also your diet schedule. Exercises and walks has tremendous benefits for mom-to-be. Some of the benefits are easier births, shorter times in labor and also helps to faster return to pre-pregnancy figures.

1- Avoid Sugar & Junk Carbs:- Sugar and junk carbs will increase extra pregnancy weight. Processed carbohydrates like breads, packed foods, pasta and other cereals break down into sugar in your system. If you don’t burn excess blood sugar it will convert sugar into fats. These junk carbs also prevent your body from using fat as energy.

 

 

2- Eat Fats and Proteins:- Women are generally afraid to intake fats and end up choosing ‘low fats product’ instead of choosing full fat whole products. So, opt for healthy & saturated fats like avocado oil, olive oil and homemade butter. These products will provide you with fat soluble vitamins A, D, E & K which will be absorbed into your system easily. It is crucial for you and also for your baby’s development.

 

 

3- Drink enough water:- Ensure to be hydrated so drink enough water. It will help you in prevention of tiredness and also pregnancy nausea. Try to drink at least more than 2 liters of water in a day.

 

 

4- Enjoy your Exercise:- Stay motivated and make sure to maintain your exercise. Talk to your doctor and ask for the exercise you can perform during pregnancy. If you do not want to do exercises, never stop going for morning or evening walks. Listen to music and enjoy doing physical workout.

 

 

5- Maintain Muscles:- If you want to avoid extra pregnancy weight gain and improve prenatal fitness and strength. Go for regular exercise program that will help you to maintain muscle tone. This will also help to increase your metabolism’s need to use fat as fuel.

 

 

6- Wear comfortable outfits for Exercise:- If you look & feel great in your exercise wear then you will enjoy your workout. Treat yourself with new workout outfits. Wear the one which will accentuate your bump and how fit you look; it will help you to keep motivated and stay in shape.

 

 

7- Proper Posture:- Maintain your posture. You will look slimmer by maintaining your posture. Good posture also helps to reduce lower back and hip pain. 10- Take Enough Sleep & Adequate Rest:- Take enough rest and sleep as it is important through pregnancy as our body adapts and improves whilst we are recovering and sleeping.
